As you might have gathered from the title, I'm an engaging and motivated femme who's looking for a little bit of butch class to take things up a notch. You should be decidedly masculine, intelligent, and very confident in yourself. I'm looking for someone who dresses sharp and knows how to treat a lady in public and in private. I'm a curvy, kinky bottom who sometimes needs to be put back in her place - are you comfortable with that? Age isn't a big issue, but I would prefer someone younger than my mother, please! Race is a social construction, so forget that as well. Interest in music, writing, or the arts is a plus. I'm a gemini so you will probably want to be a good communicator and have a sense of humor and of adventure. Not looking for anything serious, so let's just see where the wind takes us.
No men. No u-hauls. No ex-girlfriend drama. NO femmes!
Please send a photo and a brief description of yourself. What is your favorite fruit, color or body part? Who, or what inspires you? If you could live anywhere than here, where would it be? I await your response.
Can I just say that Craigslist sucks down here. Sucks badly. All the girls are bi - and not just purely bisexual, but bi-curious which means that they'll never date women and probably have boyfriends on the side. Is it not clear from this ad that I want someone masculine? Did I not say "butch," "masculine," and "NO femmes!"? Every fricken time I post, the only answers I get are from femmes. My best luck finding butches on CL is to respond to the posts they write. Today I got a response from a femme top and from a porn company in central Florida looking for models for heterosexual scenes. Um. No.
Maybe all the butches have "ex-girlfriend drama" and that's why they don't respond?
I do have a date for next Wendesday with Erin, 30, originally from Michigan, a Pisces like my gay boy. And! I have a friendly outing (I don't think it's a date?) with Kelly for the upcoming Ani Difranco concert. It's been 5 years, almost exactly, since I saw her last. I'll be so glad to be in the presence of righteous babes once again.

I hear you on the CL bs - just seems like any bi chick is just conveniently bi because their boyfriend wants a 3 some. And when did bisexuality become so damn trendy? Just baffles me the amount of young things who declare themselves as such (usually fueled by alcohol and some dudes in the background encouraging them on). Can you tell I have some strong opinions on this topic...lol.
Think we need to clone Sinclair for you! Enjoy the dates and the concert - I haven't seen Ani in about 5 years!
Ha ha, I was thinking Sinclair the whole time I was reading your description. She really is perfection.
Let me know if this works for you. I've decided to open up my social calendar as well.
And I've started to think that most girls should come with a little printout of things. It would help cut through the bullshit and make sexual pairing much easier. Perhaps we should make our own little.. "Find a top kinky Sinclair-like butch" website just for femmes. Hmmm What an idea
I don't know if we should clone Sinclair, but I agreed that Sinclair does have some good qualities :)
Robin: Some of them are genuinely bisexual but they've just never ventured out to have their first "experience" - I feel like they have no idea what they're getting into. And they'll probably bottom and, well, that just wouldn't work.
Green: Perfection? Nobody's perfect! Close.
Belle: You have room in your social calendar? The website idea sounds good, but I think butches like Sinclair are so incredibly rare that even on the internet, they might be hard to find. And then, I'd have to fight you for them! Just kidding. ;)
I, too, was thinking of Sinclair when I read your description.
And, although I don't qualify, you may be interested to know avocados are my favorite.
i just discovered your blog and its very entertaining... i do have to question one thing though...
race is a social construct but you frequently remind us of being a "gemini" and what that means towards your personality... how is that not just a social construct that should be disregarded?
Turkey, I identify myself as a gemini because my personality very closely fits pretty much every description of a gemini that I have ever read. Even if one does not believe in astrology, a curious person could read about geminis and have a pretty good sense of what they're getting themselves into. If I were to say my race, my ethnicity, or if I ask about their race, that would not help me and the people reading the ad to know any more about each other. Fair enough?
Ah, the bi-curious persist even in homotopia.

I wish you better luck.
